Dance Acrobatics  -  Chinese Pole  - Trapeze & Hair-hanging

I trained as an artistic gymnast from the age of five and continued well into my teenage years, when this path crossed with dance. I started breakdancing when I was fifteen and from there I was inspired to become a performer. I was accepted into 2Faced Dance's youth company and gained four years experience training alongside the professional company and performing in the Youth company at various venues in and around my hometown of Hereford all the way to bigger events such as the International Dance Festival in Birmingham.
I moved to London when I was nineteen to continue my training and take my career in a new direction.
I trained for three years at the National Centre for Circus arts and graduated in 2015, here I learned a wealth of different skills from dark clown, to trampolining, to Flying banquine, from a wide range of internationally renowned teachers.
I emerged from the school as a truly versatile professional artist, I specialise in Chinese Pole, Dance acrobatics, single point trapeze and hair hanging with experience in a multitude of different disciplines.

Chinese Pole

Chinese Pole is an acrobatic discipline in which the performer performs acrobatic somersaults, twists and drops on a 3-6 metre pole.

Dance Acrobartics

I fuse my unique style of breakdancing and contemporary dance with my acrobatic skill to create my work.
I have also worked as part of an ensemble where we performed builds, banquine and tumbling.

Technical Requirements - at least 2.4m ceiling height (acts are adaptable depending on size of floorspace).

Single point Trapeze

Single point trapeze is both an energetic and elegant discipline.
Due to the smaller amount of space needed this act is perfect for (but not limited to) cabaret style acts.

Click here for Technical requirements.

Hair hanging

Hair hanging is an age old discipline - it is both mesmerising and slightly shocking to watch.
I combine hair hanging with trapeze which brings a new take on the traditional art form.
The technical requirements for this act are the same as for Dance Trapeze.

However I can curate a hair-hanging act for any event with or without the trapeze.

All acts are adaptable and can be tailor made for your event, for any queries please contact me on;

'Seven sins'
at Cafe de Paris

On a Friday night you could catch me in 'seven sins' at Cafe de Paris;

"A sexy, dark and spectacular whirlwind through each of the seven deadly sins. Deviant host Reuben Kaye, armed with a razor sharp wit and a wicked grin, expertly guides you through a night of jaw dropping circus, burlesque and 5 star entertainment as Europe’s most in demand performers electrify the famous Cafe De Paris stage in this year’s brand new show Seven Sins."

by The Feathers of Daedalus

I played 'Dr. Coppelias' in this collaborative production by The Feathers of Daedalus;

"The powerful story of infatuation, mechanisation and domination, will be realised in an experimentally surrealist, multidisciplinary fashion. Circus, film and spoken word sit side by side, a unique examination of love and the uncanny."

The R&D of 'Coppelia' played at the Jacksons lane on the 24th and 25th May 2017
