Time Flows in Strange Ways on Sundays

Scratch Performance - March 2023

Time flows in strange ways on Sundays is inspired by the storytelling of Haruki Murakami and is an exploration of how Circus can work in the liminal space between reality and the otherworldly. Using hair-hanging and movement to adapt a moment from one of his books to the stage, Michelle will play with the often absent nature of the love interest of the main character and the musings that come along with it.

Ocean

2019

This acrobatic dance and trapeze piece was inspired by the great ocean garbage patch and the creatures and the world that are affected by getting tangled in it.

The piece used recorded word alongside music, fishing line and garbage as well as my dance and circus technique.
